Day 1

| Haridwar

Welcome to your ‘Chardham Yatra with Helicopter Tour Ex-Delhi’. Upon arrival in Delhi, we will pick you up from the Delhi airport/ station and drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. 
Relaxation at the hotel. Later in Evening visit Har-ki Pauri for the Aarti ceremony of mother Ganges [if time permits]. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

We shall provide Wash and change rooms as well to all guests on sharing basis.

Day 2

| Barkot

After breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel and drive to Barkot. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at Barkot. 

Barkot is an ideal destination for pilgrims of Shri Yamunotri. It is situated 45 Km before the Yamunotri temple, from where panoramic views of the Bandar Punch Peak can be seen.

Day 3

| Barkot

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Janki chatti. Janki Chatti is the starting point for the trek route towards Yamunotri, i.e., 6 Kms one way [you have the option to either walk or hire a pony or take a Doli at your own cost]. Upon arrival at Yamunotri, take a Holy bath in Surya Kund (Hot spring) and visit the Yamunotri temple "Darshan" and Pooja of pious "Yamuna Ji" at Divya Shila. Later return to Janki Chatti and then further drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot. 

The deity or Goddess Yamuna is made of black marble. The temple is dedicated to the river Yamuna, which is represented in the form of a silver idol, bedecked with garlands. About 3,293 metres above sea level, Yamunotri stands proudly with its enormous mountain peaks, glaciers, and gushing waters of the Yamuna. River Yamuna, the second most sacred river of India, originates in Yamunotri, making it one of the pilgrimage sites in the Chota Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand.

Day 4

| Uttarkashi

This morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Later, visit the Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 5

| Uttarkashi

After breakfast, we proceed to the Gangotri excursion tour. En route, enjoy the picturesque Harsil valley, the Bhagirathi River, and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. Upon arrival at Gangotri, visit Gangotri Mata Temple and perform Pooja. Thereafter, we drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi. 

Gangotri - As per the Hindu mythology, Goddess Ganga, the daughter of Lord Brahma, showed herself as a waterway to acquit the transgressions of King Bhagirath's forerunners, taking after his extreme retribution of a few centuries, and Lord Shiva got her into his tangled locks to minimize the gigantic effect of her fall. She came to be called Bhagirathi at her incredible source. Along the right back of Bhagirathi stands the sanctum of Gangotri devoted to the Goddess. Roosted at a height of 3042 meters (10,000 ft), it was developed in the mid-18th century by a Gorkha Commander, Amar Singh Thapa.

Day 6

| Guptkashi

After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival at Guptkashi check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free at the hotel. Overnight stay at Guptkashi. 

 

Day 7

| Guptkashi

After early morning breakfast, we proceed towards the Helipad point of Guptkashi (around 09 Kms)
After boarding the Helicopter, they shall drop you towards respective points. Later, proceed towards
Kedarnath Temple (Approx. 02kms walk). Post Darshan, we proceed back to the helipad point of Kedarnath and fly towards Guptkashi. The vehicle shall drop you back at your respective hotel. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

We will offer VIP darshan slips at the Kedarnath temple so our passengers can avoid the long queue and finish darshan quickly. The cost for these slips is Rs 2500 per person, not included in our package. Any other special puja at Kedarnath can be booked at the local temple committee office, although the cost for this will be paid directly by the passengers.
(Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries, and clothes)

Shri Kedarnath is a majestic sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow-covered peaks. The temple of Kedarnath, located at a height of 3,581 mts, stands at the head of the Mandakini River. The present temple, built in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya, stands adjacent to the site of an earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decorated with figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple door, a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard. It is said that devotees who die here become one with Shiva himself.

Day 8

| Badrinath

After Breakfast leave for Badrinath via Joshimath. Check in at the hotel. Later at evening, visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Shri Badrinath Temple - It's so great to take in the way that this sacrosanct destination, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, has been committed to humankind. The area where Lord Vishnu pondered under a Badri tree for a thousand unremitting years and taught us a definitive method for the welfare of humankind is exceptional on the planet. Today, this temple is considered one of the holiest Hindu temples.

Day 9

| Rudraprayag

Early morning, pilgrims, after having a bath in the Taptkund, have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spots like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Later, drive back to Joshimath - Pipalkoti - Rudraparyag. 
Overnight stay at Rudraprayag. 

 

Day 10

| Haridwar

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Haridwar. En-route visiting Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat temples, and Ashrams. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

 

Day 11

| Haridwar

Breakfast at the hotel, check out, and drive to Delhi. On arrival, you will transfer to the airport to board your flight.

Terms & Conditions

Flexible Flying Time:

  • Flying time of charter is subject to flying permissions and weather forecast and can be changed if the weather is not permissible for flying or in case of any technical issues.

Body Weight Limitation:

  • Each helicopter can accommodate up to 6 passengers with a total body weight limitation of 445 kg for 6 passengers. Heli Yatra holds the right to de-board the passenger if the given body weight deviates from the actual body weight provided at the time of making the booking. In such a scenario, we will not be liable to provide the refund amount to any passenger de-boarded. Passengers are requested to share the exact body weight measured on an electronic measuring scale. Passengers with body weight above 75 Kg will be charged INR 2,000 / - Per Kg. This amount will be collected in Dehradun to avoid last-minute hustle. Passengers whose given body weight is wrong will be charged INR 2500 /- Per Kg only on the final call of the pilot else will be de-boarded without any refund

.Luggage Weight:

  • Only one small soft bag/ duffle bag weighing a maximum of 5 kg is allowed per passenger provided the body weight is the same as was provided at the time of booking. Suitcases or any other luggage bags including hard case bag is strictly prohibited to be carried in the helicopter.

Flying Schedule:

  • Any of the Dhams can be covered first depending on the weather conditions, Technical Issues, huge rush in the temple, and govt. permissions.
  • Hotel Accommodation:
  • Akbar Holidays holds the right to change the hotels at flight origin and destination which is subject to the availability of hotels, A group of 6 passengers or above may have to stay in different hotels as they will be traveling in different helicopters subject to their body weight. Rooms are booked on a double or triple-sharing basis only. For a separate single occupancy room, it will be extra chargeable @ INR 45,000/person (tax inclusive).

Infants:

  • Infants below 2 years are accommodated free of charge. For verification of the age of the child, the ID proof/birth certificate of the child needs to be submitted before the arrival date at the source of the journey.

Bad Weather Conditions:

  • Flying in hills is subjected to bad weather conditions, many Force Majeure factors like delayed Air Traffic Clearances/ Permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft, illness of flying crew or late reporting of the passengers at helipads, among others. Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios. We strongly advise our passengers to keep one additional day at hand, over & above the 5N6D period, to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios. Due to backlog / bad weather or any natural circumstance, there can be amendments in your itinerary where we can cover either Dodham, Ekdham, or Teendham in 1 or 2 days. And in some circumstances, your trip may be cancelled on the day of arrival due to the above conditions with a full refund except for the expenses that occurred in Dehradun. In most situations, if there is a backlog due to bad weather trip may get canceled.

No Flying:
In case we are completely unable to visit any Dham due to bad weather situation we will refund proportionate money i.e if due to any reason we are unable to do 2 dhams then we will refund or provide a credit note subject to the flying hours which is exclusive of Royalty fee, Taxes, and fixed components.

  • Medical/ Special Condition:
  • Akbar Holidays staff should be informed at the time of booking if there is any Medical or Special condition (Handicapped, Special or Mentally Challenged, etc.) involved with any of the flyers.
  • The Operating Company has full rights to de-board the passenger if not informed at the time of booking.

Passenger Grouping:

  • Given our helicopters’ limited weight-carrying capacity, the operating company reserves the right to shuffle passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight for safe flying in the hills. Therefore, passengers traveling together may not be accommodated in the same helicopter flight. Only 1 Cab/ Vehicle will be provided for 6 Passengers throughout their entire journey.

Rescheduling Of Booking:

  • Rescheduling your booking to any future or prior travel date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 20% of the total tour cost. This will be permitted only at least 35 days before the arrival date. In case the rescheduling is requested less than 35 days before the travel date, then the booking will be treated as canceled, & a fresh booking will be given subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.


Force Majeure & Bad Weather Refunds:
Basis of Refund:

  • Tour Cost: In case 03 Dham is completed and 01 Dham is left out then INR 15,000 approx. per person will be refunded back to the passenger. This cost is exclusive of other expenses (Extra night halt, Extra transfers, or any other extra services utilized other than the package inclusions).
  • Additional Services: The cost of additional services provided at any Dham during the tour will be deducted over & above the refundable Tour Cost.
  • Refund against an unutilized service will not be done.

COVID-19 Lockdowns, or any National/State Emergency:

  • In case passengers test COVID-19 positive before the travel, or the Yatra gets called off by the government, or any National or State emergency is imposed, there will be no refunds applicable. However, passengers will be provided a Credit Voucher by the company against the advance paid, which will be valid for one year.

Important Guidelines

  • As this is NSOP (Non-scheduled operations) flying, flying time for the next day is conveyed to passengers a night prior once the operation plan is finalized in the evening/ night after sunset.
  • In case of emergency and bad weather scenarios, passengers will be taken back to Dehradun by road.
  • If there is any technical snag in the helicopter or any sudden testing required there might be a possibility of delay or the passenger may fly on the next day. In case of a major part failure, your trip may be canceled in between the Yatra.
  • There can be a waiting time at every helipad for up to 2 hours approx. depending upon multiple factors like Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges, etc.
  • On the last day of the Heli-tour, we will try to depart from Badri as early as possible so that our group is not stuck in the bad weather scenario. In this case, we may skip the morning breakfast at Badrinath. In case the client wants to have breakfast at Dehradun it will be at an additional cost.
  • Aadhar Card copy is mandatory to be submitted in advance before the date of flight by all Indian passengers, and Passport in case of foreign nationals.
  • Any donations, tips, pithy, palki/pony (except Yamunotri) and porter charges shall be borne by the passengers.
  • Kedarnath temple has three base camps i.e., Phata/ Guptkashi/ Sersi. In the case of big groups, flying in different helicopters may land at different base camps on different helipads. We have to complete the entire yatra as per the group in the same helicopter since each helicopter has different flying timings and permissions.
  • At each door, we have our informed handlers and in case of any assistance client has to reach out to the handlers.
  • Any extra night halt except this itinerary due to any circumstances will be borne by the customers and the client has to pay the amount on actuals in the hotel directly.
  • If a client wants to stay at Kedarnath Top, he/ she has to sign a declaration stating that the Operating company is not responsible for any service challenges and emergencies, all the arrangements will be done by our crew members but the payment has to be made by client only on actuals.
  • Any last-minute customization in the itinerary will not be possible as all the logistics are booked well in advance at the time of booking therefore client needs to update the Akbar Holidays Team if there are any add-ons required in the package.
