Day 1

| Leh Ladakh

Welcome to your ‘Ladakh Delight Ex-Delhi’ Tour. On arrival, you will be met by our representative. The rest of the day is for rest and acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). Overnight stay in Leh. (Meals: Dinner)

 

Day 2

| Leh Ladakh

Post breakfast we drive towards Kargil road and start our sightseeing with Hall of Fame near Leh. It is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army. Further on we proceed to Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 kms takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river 4 km before Nimmu village. After visiting the above places we drive back to Hotel for Overnight Stay. The rest of the evening is at leisure for Independent activities.

Day 3

| Nubra

This morning, drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Dorma or “the valley of flowers” via Khardungla Pass - the world’s one of the highest motorable road (5602 mts). On arrival, check in to the camp.Later in the afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Thereafter, visit the white sand dunes at Hunder, where you can enjoy the double humped bacterian camel ride (ride on direct payment basis). The rest of the evening is at leisure for Independent activities. Overnight in Nubra Valley. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

 

Day 4

| Pangong

This morning after breakfast, proceed to Pangong Tso - a lake which is 134 km long and extends from India to Tibet, 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. During winter, the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. En route, visit Shyok River & Durbuk. Before reaching Pangong Lake, you will pass through the Changla, a high mountain pass and the world’s 3rd highest motorable road. It is on the route to Pangong Lake from Leh. The name literally means "Pass towards the South" or "Pass in the South" (Chang = south, La = Pass). On arrival, check in to the camp. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Pangong.

Day 5

| Leh Ladakh

In the early morning, enjoy the picturesque view of Sunrise on the lake. After Breakfast, drive back to Leh, en-route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Our driver will drop you at Leh market where you can explore yourself. Overnight stay in Leh. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

 

Day 6

| Leh Ladakh

Today, bid farewell to your ‘Ladakh Delight Ex-Delhi’ Tour, as you are transferred to the airport in Leh for your onward journey.

  • Leh is located in a high Altitude region, we suggest you get Fitness checked by your Doctors to avoid any circumstances during the tour.
  • We suggest the minimum age required to travel on this tour is 5 years.
  • Senior citizens and parents traveling with their children, we request you to check with doctors before traveling.
  • We shall provide you with an Oxygen cylinder during your tour towards Nubra and Pangong for the group.
  • Guest can take personal Oxygen cylinders on a hire basis as well from Day 1.

  • Due to infrastructure limitations at Nubra and Pangong, we shall provide Camps for accommodation.

Reach Leh and take time to acclimatize. Explore nearby attractions, then travel through Khardung La to Nubra Valley to see Diskit Monastery and the Hunder sand dunes. Next, journey to Pangong Tso via Chang La, watch the sunrise by the lake, and drive back to Leh after visiting Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace, followed by your airport transfer.
