Day 1

| Yerevan

Arrive in Yerevan. Our local representative will meet you & transfer you to your Hotel in Yerevan. Yerevan is the capital of the Republic of Armenia and is the 12th capital of historical Armenia. The capital of Armenia is also one of the world's most ancient cities. Yerevan has numerous museums, monuments, and churches that reflect the city's high spiritual, cultural, and scientific status. Due to its rich historical and cultural heritage, unique architecture, developing urban infrastructure, and the hospitality so characteristic of Armenians, Yerevan attracts more and more tourists, expanding the geography of the tourism market and strengthening its position on the map of the best tourist destinations. Day 2

| Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Continue the Yerevan City tour around the center, including the City center, Republic Square, Opera House, Mother Armenia Monument, and visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. Visit to the Cascade complex, which is
considered the modern art center of Yerevan, with art pieces displayed throughout the whole area: the boulevard and up the stairs, from the top of which you can enjoy the panoramic view of the city and Mountain Ararat. Cascade is home to Cafesjian Modern Art Museum. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

 

Day 3

| Yerevan

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the unique cave temple St. Geghard (12th -13th cc.), the name of which means “holy spear” in honor of the same spear that pierced the body of crucified Jesus Christ. It is now exhibited in the museum of Etchmiadzin Cathedral with a short Photo stop at Charents Arc. Visit the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia devoted to the God of Sun – Myrth, Garni, built in 77 ADS by King Trdat. Drive Symphony of Stones - a natural monument located in the basin of the Azat River, consists of huge symmetric hexagon and pentagon basalt columns (nearly 50 meters high), which seem to be handmade due to their amazing symmetry, also referred to as “Basalt Organ Pipes”. Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Tsaghkadzor (means “gorge of flowers”) town, the magical place of forested mountains. Short walking tour around the small town. Opportunity goes up to the mountain peaks by a rope way, where you will catch an unforgettable, gorgeous panoramic view of this part of the world (going up the first level and back). In winter, Tsaghkadzor is a well-known ski resort with several levels of ropeways leading up the mountains. In summer, it’s a pleasant place to spend the afternoon in nature and enjoy the sun. Visit the Kecharis monastery and then take the ropeway to Teghenis Mountain. Drive to Sevan Lake and visit Sevanavank monastery. Overnight in Yerevan.

 

Day 5

| Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. First, our stop for today will be the Khor Virap monastery, which, when translated from Armenian, means deep dungeon. Here, according to the legend, Gregory the Illuminator was held prisoner for 13 years, and from this place, Armenian Christianity took root. Then we will continue our trip to the Vayots Dzor region, the birthplace of Armenian wine, which, according to recent archeological findings, dates back 6000 years. Here we will visit Noravank monastery. We will proceed to the Areni winery for a wine degustation. Return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

 

Day 6

| Yerevan

After breakfast, drive to Ejmiatsin. The city is best known as the location of Etchmiadzin Cathedral and Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. It is thus unofficially known in Western sources as a "holy city"[and in Armenia as the country's "spiritual capital”. Then drive to Zvartnots, which is literally 'celestial angels cathedral’. It’s a medieval Armenian cathedral. Built in the 7th century and now lying in ruins, Zvartnots was noted for its circular exterior structure and a set of interior piers that upheld a multifloor structure crowned with a dome. Overnight in Yerevan.

 

Day 7

| Yerevan

After your breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. We return home with wonderful memories of our tour.
