Day 1

Welcome to Melbourne. Compact and diverse, Melbourne is a perfect playground for adventurers and wildlife lovers, foodies and road trippers. Discover remote beaches and rugged coastlines, alpine outlooks and lush forests, all within easy reach of Melbourne, Australia's culinary capital. On arrival we will transfer you to your hotel. Free time at Leisure to explore this vibrant city on your own.

Day 2

| Melbourne

Breakfast at your hotel. Explore one of Australia’s most popular holiday destinations, Phillip Island, on this ideal wildlife and nature lover's day out. Snap a shot at the famous Brighton Beach bathing boxes, meet and view local wildlife at a multi-award-winning conservation park before reaching the highlight of the tour – the adorable nightly Penguin Parade. Departing Melbourne around midday, we make a stop at the city’s most colourful attraction – the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes – for an opportunity to visit the beach and take some time to admire these historic landmarks.Continue your journey through Melbourne’s bayside suburbs on the way to Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. Here, we enjoy a guided wildlife walk with the opportunity to meet and hand-feed many species of native Australian animals. Learn about iconic species such as kangaroos, koalas, emus, and wallabies, as well as some lesser-known favourites including quolls, owls, bandicoots, and Tasmanian devils. Included in your visit here is the spectacular “Conservation in Action” wildlife show, which showcases several lesser-known Australian species in a series of interactive and engaging ranger presentations.Continuing to Phillip Island, a visit to Point Grant and The Nobbies gives us an opportunity to enjoy stunning views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, including Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest population of fur seals. From here, it’s onwards to the main event, the Phillip Island Penguin Parade at sunset.Just after dark every night, the world’s smallest penguins waddle ashore and pass right before your eyes on their journey back to their homes. You will be truly enchanted by these stars of the show, and your experienced guide will ensure you get the best vantage point to enjoy the Penguin Parade.

Day 3

| Melbourne

Enjoy early breakfast at your hotel. Today we proceed for a full day guided tour of Great Ocean Road.  See some of the most spectacular coastal scenery on Earth, including the Twelve Apostles limestone stacks and Gibson's Steps, site of historic cliff lines. Bushwalk in Great Otway National Park and try out your koala-spotting skills. This tour guarantees at least 4 attractions including London Bridge, Loch Ard Gorge, The Razorback, and the Twelve Apostles. You'll also get a beach picnic for lunch at Port Campbell (weather permitting). Bear in mind that you are going to see some of the most spectacular natural landscapes on the planet!

Day 4

| Cairns

After breakfast we transfer you to Melbourne Airport for your flight (on own) to Cairns. Cairns is located on the east coast of Far North Queensland & was founded in 1876 and was named after “Sir William Wellington Cairns”, Governor of Queensland from 1875 to 1877. On arrival we transfer you to your hotel in Cairns and you have free time to relax or explore Cairns (on your own).

Day 5

| Cairns

Early breakfast at hotel. Step into the quaint rainforest village and explore the beauty of the natural surrounds of Tropical North Queensland. Located north-west of Cairns, Kuranda is nestled within one of the oldest tropical rainforests on earth. Jump aboard the famous Kuranda Scenic Railway & Skyrail and unwind your way through waterfalls, breathtaking Barron Gorge and learn about the history of the making of the handmade tunnels and bridges. To see the best of Kuranda, shop at the Kuranda market and explore the unique wildlife experiences such as cuddling a koala, visiting the butterfly sanctuary and joining a riverboat tour. Your day begins with the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail journey to Kuranda. Once aboard, enjoy this historical journey to Kuranda, enjoying breathtaking views across the cane fields of Cairns, to the tropical rainforest of Kuranda.There are two stops along the way to disembark and explore. Once you arrive in Kuranda, you'll have time to explore this unique village. The Heritage Markets operate 7 days a week and are full of colourful and interesting arts and crafts. While at this stop, you might also like to visit Birdworld, the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, or Kuranda Koala Gardens [at your own expense]. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to purchase food. You can also use the discounted entry on your Kuranda Boarding Pass for some of the popular attractions!At the scheduled time, make your way directly to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway boarding line – there is no need to queue as your tickets are already on your Boarding Pass. Once aboard, be amazed as you journey over and through World Heritage protected Rainforest. Your Boarding Pass is your ticket for this iconic rainforest experience that includes time at both Red Peak and Barron Falls stations, both with spectacular lookouts. Or visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre. Complimentary guided boardwalk tours are offered throughout the day at Red Peak Station. After arriving at the Smithfield Skyrail, make yourself known to the tour's hostess who will direct you to your coach for the transfer to your accommodation.

Day 6

| Cairns

Today we proceed for Full Day Green Island Reef Cruise by Cataraman. Aboard Great Adventures’ fast catamaran from Cairns, your journey to the Great Barrier Reef takes only 45 minutes! Surrounded by reef filled with diverse marine life, and home to a unique rainforest environment, Green Island awaits to provide you with a memorable holiday experience. Take part in all the activities that the island has to offer or relax on the beach and let your day unfold in this tropical paradise. Stroll through magical rainforest, laze on white coral sand beaches, swim, dive or snorkel.

Day 7

| Gold Coast

After breakfast we will transfer you to Cairns Airport for your flight (on own) to Brisbane or Gold Coast. It's famed for its long sandy beaches, surfing spots and elaborate system of inland canals and waterways. It’s also home to theme parks such as Dreamworld, Sea World and Wet’n’Wild. Inland, hiking trails crisscross Lamington National Park’s mountain ridges and valleys, home to rare birds and rainforest. On arrival transfer to your Hotel & rest of day free at leisure.

Day 8

| Gold Coast

Warner Bros Movie World is a 16.8 hectare film studio theme park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, and Australia. Owned and operated by Village Roadshow's Theme Parks division, the park opened on 3 June 1991. The park's site is part of a entertainment precinct, with the adjacent Village Roadshow Studios film studio and nearby Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast water park, among other properties all operated by Village Roadshow. The park contains movie-themed rides, attractions and shows. Various costumed characters regularly patrol the park to interact and take photos with guests. Each afternoon, characters participate in a parade along the park's Main Street. The park hosts several seasonal events annually, such as the Halloween-themed Fright Nights and Christmas-themed White Christmas. DC Rivals Hyper Coaster, opened in 2017, is the most recent among the park's six operating roller coasters.

Dreamworld is a theme park and zoo situated on the Gold Coast in Queensland. It is Australia's biggest theme park with over 40 rides and attractions.The park is made up of several themed lands: Ocean Parade, DreamWorks Experience, ABC Kids World, Tiger Island and Corroboree. These lands have a collection of rides, animal exhibits, shows, food outlets and merchandise shops. Adventure and excitement can be found at every turn. Thrill-seekers can get their hearts racing with any of the Big 9 Thrill Rides including Pandamonium, Tower of Terror II, The Claw and Tailspin. Sydney sparkles all year round and it’s the perfect holiday spot for families, couples and friends. Rest of the Day is Free at Lesiure or you can opt to explore this beautiful city on your own.

Discover Sydney at your own pace. Big Bus hop-on, hop-off bus tours give you the freedom to explore the best of Sydney at your own pace. Hop off the tour as many times as you like within the validity period of your ticket, and simply hop on again when you're ready. Alternatively, you are very welcome to remain on board for the entire tour & opt to explore this beautiful city on your own. Choose entry to two of the following attractions: SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, Madame Tussauds Sydney or Sydney Tower Eye.
