Day 1

| Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our professional representative, who will provide full meet-and-assist services, including guidance through customs and assistance with luggage. A private transfer will then escort you comfortably to your chosen hotel in Cairo, where you will check in and enjoy a moment to refresh after your journey. Take some time to relax in your room or perhaps explore the hotel’s facilities before the evening program begins. At sunset, you will head to the iconic Giza Plateau for an unforgettable cultural experience—the world-renowned Sound and Light Show. As darkness falls, the ancient monuments are illuminated with vivid lights while a dramatic narration recounts the history of the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, telling tales of powerful Pharaohs and Egypt’s glorious civilization. The captivating atmosphere, with lasers dancing across the desert sky, makes this performance an inspiring introduction to the wonders of Egypt. After the show, you will be comfortably transferred back to your hotel for your overnight stay in Cairo, preparing for the adventures ahead.

Day 2

| Cairo

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, your guide will take you on a fascinating full-day journey through the city’s most legendary treasures. Begin at the spectacular Giza Plateau, where you will stand in awe before the timeless Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. To enhance the experience, you will enjoy a short yet memorable camel ride near the pyramids, offering a chance to capture unique photos with these ancient wonders as a backdrop. Continue to the mysterious Great Sphinx, the guardian of the necropolis, carved from limestone with the body of a lion and the face of a Pharaoh. Next, proceed to the Egyptian Museum, which houses over 120,000 artifacts, including the dazzling treasures of Tutankhamun, ancient jewelry, mummies, and royal statues. After your exploration, enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at Tasty House Restaurant, sampling authentic local flavors. Day 3

| Aswan

After breakfast at your Cairo hotel, enjoy some free time to relax or explore nearby attractions. In the evening, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the Cairo–Aswan Sleeper Train. Settle into your private cabin, where comfortable seating converts into a bed for the night. Dinner will be served onboard as you journey through the Nile Valley. Overnight on the sleeper train, arriving in Aswan the next morning to continue your adventure.

 

Day 4

| Nile Cruise

Upon your morning arrival in Aswan, you will be met at the station and transferred directly to your selected Nile Cruise for embarkation. After settling into your well-appointed cabin, enjoy a welcome drink and a chance to familiarize yourself with the ship’s facilities. Your guided sightseeing tour in Aswan begins with a visit to the awe-inspiring High Dam, one of the greatest engineering achievements of modern Egypt, controlling the waters of the Nile and providing hydroelectric power. Continue to the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, beautifully relocated to Agilkia Island to protect it from flooding. This temple is a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture, adorned with intricate carvings and surrounded by the tranquil waters of the Nile. You will also have the chance to explore the Aswan Crocodile Museum, which reveals the significance of the crocodile god Sobek in Egyptian mythology. Day 5

| Nile Cruise

Begin your morning with a delicious breakfast onboard your Nile Cruise while sailing through the serene waters of the Nile. For those wishing to experience one of Egypt’s most iconic monuments, there is an optional early morning excursion to Abu Simbel by flight or private coach. These monumental temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari are carved into the mountainside and are celebrated for their colossal statues and intricate wall reliefs that honor the pharaoh’s victories and devotion to the gods. After returning from Abu Simbel or enjoying a relaxed morning on the cruise, you will continue your journey. Your first stop will be at Kom Ombo Temple, a fascinating and unique sanctuary dedicated to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. The temple is perfectly symmetrical, with twin entrances, halls, and sanctuaries, making it unlike any other in Egypt. You will also have the chance to visit the Crocodile Museum, where mummified crocodiles are displayed, offering insight into the spiritual beliefs of ancient Egyptians. Sailing onwards, you will arrive at Edfu, home to the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus. Day 6

Today, after a hearty breakfast onboard, your Nile Cruise will arrive in the magnificent city of Luxor, often described as the world’s largest open-air museum. The day begins with a guided exploration of the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built in the ancient world. This sprawling site is home to towering Hypostyle Hall columns, sacred lakes, impressive obelisks, and beautifully decorated chapels dedicated to the god Amun-Ra. Walking through this vast temple is like stepping back in time, with each stone carrying echoes of the pharaohs who built it over the centuries. Afterward, you will continue to the Luxor Temple, located gracefully along the Nile’s eastern bank.
