Day 1

| Seoul

Arrive in Seoul. Our representative will meet you & transfer to your hotel in Seoul. Seoul is the capital and largest city of South Korea. It is located in the northwestern part of the country, near the border with North Korea. Seoul is not only the political and economic center of South Korea but also its cultural and historical heart. The city is known for its modern skyscrapers, historic palaces, temples, and vibrant street markets. Some of the famous landmarks in Seoul include Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Namsan Seoul Tower, and the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. 

 

Day 2

| Seoul

Begin with a visit to Jogyesa Temple, followed by Gyeongbokgung Palace (Deoksu Palace on Tuesdays) and witness the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony. Continue to the National Folk Museum for insights into Korea’s rich heritage. Later, transfer to the Korean Folk Village (approximately 1.5 hours from Seoul), where you’ll experience life during the late Joseon Dynasty. The expansive village features over 260 traditional houses, each representing different provinces of Korea.
Return to Seoul in the evening and enjoy some time at leisure to rest and relax.

 

Day 3

| Gyeongju

After breakfast, transfer to Seoul Station to board KTX019, departing at 09:30 AM and arriving at Busan Station at 12:16 PM.Upon arrival, meet the local representative in front of Toyoko Inn Hotel 1, Busan Station at 01:00 PM. Proceed for a guided tour starting with Jagalchi Fishery Market, Busan’s largest and most vibrant seafood market. Continue to Haeundae Beach and Dongbaek Park, offering scenic coastal views. Later, transfer to Gyeongju (approximately 100 km / 1 hour 30 minutes). Check in to your hotel on arrival and enjoy the evening at leisure.

 

Day 4

| Pyeongchang

After breakfast at your hotel, proceed to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Seokguram Grotto, followed by a visit to Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO). Admire the exquisite beauty of the temple and the remarkable artistry of its stone relics, widely praised by visitors from around the world. Later, travel to Andong Hahoe Folk Village (170 km / approx. 2 hours 30 minutes). This UNESCO-listed village has preserved the traditional housing architecture and village layout of the Joseon Dynasty and is unique in that it remains a living village with residents still inhabiting it. It is also renowned for the historic visit of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.

 

Day 5

| Seoul

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Pyeongchang (95 km / approx. 1 hour 20 minutes). Visit the 2018 Winter Olympic Games venues, including the Ski Jumping Stadium and Observation Tower. Continue onward to Mt. Seorak National Park (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve) (50 km / approx. 1 hour). Renowned as Korea’s most iconic national park, the dramatic peaks of the Seoraksan Mountains rise through the clouds while jade-colored streams flow through scenic valleys. Owing to its rich biodiversity and rare species, the park was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Preservation District in 1982. Optional: Take a cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress (USD 20 per person) for panoramic mountain views. Later, transfer back to Seoul (195 km / approx. 3 hours). Arrive in the city around 6:00 PM, with the tour concluding at Donghwa Duty Free Shop Building, Gwanghwamun Intersection. Transfer to your hotel.
