Day 1

| Seoul

Welcome to South Korea. Upon arrival at Incheon Airport, meet a driver and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of day at leisure. Seoul is a city of striking contrasts, where ancient palaces and quiet temples sit comfortably beside glass skyscrapers and neon-lit streets. It hums with energy—fast-paced, innovative, and always awake—yet still finds moments of calm in mountain trails, riverside parks, and hidden teahouses.

Day 2

| Seoul

Around 08:30 pick-up from your hotel to begin a cultural exploration of Seoul. Visit Jogyesa Temple, the center of Korean Buddhism, followed by Gyeongbokgung Palace (Deoksugung Palace on Tuesdays) and witness the traditional Royal Guard Changing Ceremony. Continue to the National Folk Museum for insights into Korea’s heritage, with time at a local shopping center. Later, drive to the Korean Folk Village (approximately 1.5 hours from Seoul), a vast open-air museum showcasing life during the late Joseon Dynasty, featuring over 260 traditional houses representing provinces across Korea. Return to Seoul in the evening and enjoy time at leisure to rest.

 

Day 3

| Jeonju

07:30 AM meet your driver at the hotel and transfer to the meeting point at Donghwa Duty Free Shop bus parking lot, near Gwanghwamun Intersection, Seoul.08:00 AM depart for Gongju (130 km / approx. 1.5 hours), once the capital of the Baekje Dynasty. Visit the Tomb of King Muryeong (UNESCO World Heritage Site), followed by Gongsanseong Fortress (UNESCO), a historic mountain fortress dating back to the Baekje period (234–678). Continue onward to Jeonju (80 km / approx. 1 hour) to explore the charming Jeonju Hanok Village, home to nearly 700 traditional Hanok houses. Check in to your hotel upon arrival and relax for the evening.

 

Day 4

| Yeosu

After breakfast at your hotel, travel to Gwangju (100 km / approx. 1.5 hours), the cultural heart of the Honam region and the birthplace of Korea’s modern democratic movement. Visit the May 18th National Cemetery, a site of deep historical significance commemorating the Gwangju Democratization Movement (also referenced in BTS member J-Hope’s song “Ma City”).
Continue to Suncheon (100 km / approx. 1 hour) to explore the beautifully landscaped Suncheonman Bay National Garden (closed on the last Monday of each month). Later, proceed to Yeosu (38 km / approx. 40 minutes), a romantic coastal city, with a stroll around Admiral Yi Sun-shin Plaza. Check in to your hotel upon arrival.

 

Day 5

| Gyeongju

After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Jinju (100 km / approx. 1.5 hours) to visit Jinjuseong Fortress, a historic stronghold closely associated with the Japanese invasions of Korea in 1592. Continue onward to Busan (100 km / approx. 1.5 hours), arriving near Gimhae Domestic Airport to join the group tour (pick-ups at Gimhae Airport and in front of Toyoko Inn Hotel 1, Busan Station at 13:00, depending on the 3-day tour schedule).
Explore Jagalchi Market and BIFF Square, Busan’s lively old downtown famed for its fresh seafood and local street culture. Later, visit Haeundae Beach and enjoy a scenic walk through Dongbaek Park along the coast.
In the evening, transfer to Gyeongju (100 km / approx. 1.5 hours) and check in to your hotel.

 

Day 6

| Pyeongchang

After Check-out, move to Haeinsa Temple located in Gayasan National Park. Haeinsa Temple was founded by King Ae-Jang of Shilla Dynasty (802), well known for its famous treasure “ Tripitaka Koreana ”(UNESCO world heritage) composed of 81,341 printing woodblocks made to repulse the Mongolian Army Invasion with support of Buddha. And then transfer to Andong Hahoe Village which has preserved the housing architecture and the village structure of the Joseon Dynasty. Moreover, the Village was not artificially created; there are people who actually live there. The Hahoe Village has become world-famous for the visit of The Queen Elizabeth II of Britain several years ago. And then transfer to Pyeongchang one of 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Cities.

 

Day 7

| Seoul

Breakfast at the hotel.Move to Woljeongsa. Learning temple etiquette, Temple tour, Walking Meditation or conversation with a monk and monastic meal (The Woljeongsa temple stay experience is available for a minimum of 8 people. The experience is not available for groups of less than 8 people.) Move to Seoraksan National Park of which the peaks break through the clouds while jade-like water flows through the valleys, creating breathtaking views and making this Korea’s most famous national park. UNESCO designated this park a Biosphere Preservation District in 1982 due to so many rare species found here. Visit Sinheungsa-temple located in Mt.Seorak which is an ancient temple with deep historical significance, built by a great monk Jajangyulsa (590~658). (Optional Tour: Gwongeumseong Cable Car–USD20pp). Gwongeumseong is a site of castle ruins located on the steep Dol Mountain of Seoraksan National Park area. After sightseeing of Seoraksan National Park, move to Seoul. Drop off the hotel **During the peak season in October, the Seoraksan National Park will restrict buses and medium size bus for entries. Therefore, the bus must park at C District Square and you must walk 3.6km to the entrance from C District Square. So please be aware of that we might not be able to visit Seoraksan National Park for this tour.

 

Day 8

| Seoul

After breakfast at your hotel, meet a driver at your hotel lobby 4hours before your flight departure and transfer to Incheon Airport
